The Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau is staffed by a president and a small, closely-knit team of professionals who are dedicated to a prosperous future for Copperas Cove and the success of Chamber members.
President - Silvia Spires
On behalf of the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Bureau, I would like to welcome you to our city. Copperas Cove is an outstanding place to live, work, play and grow a business. Whether you’re visiting for the day, looking for a new place to call home, or you’re already a resident of our thriving community, Copperas Cove is a vibrant town with plenty of opportunities. Our rich history dates back to 1879, and the Chamber was established in 1956 to advocate for and support the prosperity of Copperas Cove and the business community.
It is an exciting time to be a member of the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Bureau. We are always creating new networking and promotional opportunities to help our member businesses succeed and grow, including space to advertise on the Chamber website, business referrals, monthly networking opportunities, and continuing education. As part of our tourism initiatives, we host events to promote the city and our members to attract visitors to shop, dine, and stay overnight. Some of those annual events include the Krist Kindl Markt, Jack Rabbit Run, the Rabbit Fest, HEB Summer Run to Fun, and the Gallop or Trot .
It is our mission to partner with current and future Chamber Members, Community Leaders and the Citizens of Copperas Cove to pursue an enhanced quality of life for the community, particularly in the areas of commerce, education, tourism, economic growth, community development, and workforce development. Our success in achieving our purpose is due to a collaborative effort from the Chamber Board of Directors, Chamber Ambassadors, Chamber members, area professionals, community leaders, the City of Copperas Cove and its citizens.
Our new website, online directories, and calendars are another service the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Bureau provides to the local community. Through our online presence and all our “boots on the ground,” the Copperas Cove Chamber & Visitor Bureau continues to encourage ”think local, spend local!” By supporting the businesses in our directory, you are reinvesting in your community.
To our current valued Chamber members, thank you for your continued support and membership investment. For those of you that are considering relocating a business, opening a new business, or moving to Copperas Cove, you will find that becoming a Chamber member will be of great value to you. Copperas Cove is a flourishing community, join us as we continue to grow!
