COPPERAS COVE PARKS AND REC SPECIAL EVENTS

The City of Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation invites you to attend our SIX annual special events! These events are sure to bring laughter, fun, and memories you will cherish for years to come. The smell of food trucks in the air, live music, belly flopping contests, trick-or-treating, funning alongside friends and local home grown goodness are sure to evoke all the warmth of moments you hold dear.

 

5K Polar Bear Plunge

January 23rd

Come run/walk our annual 5K Run to the Polar Bear Plunge in the Copperas Cove City Park. Afterwards, plunge into the freezing waters of City Park Pool!

 

Fishing in the Park

February 13th

Enjoy a relaxing morning of fishing with family and friends as the Texas Parks and Wildlife stocks the City Park Pond. 5 fish limit, and all 18 years or older must have a fishing license.

 

Easter Egg Round-Up

March 27th

Hop on over to the City Park for a family-fun-filled morning with Easter eg hunts, and pictures with the Easter Bunny!

 

Farmer's Market

May - October

Come on out and pick up some locally grown, hand made, hand crafted items from out wonderful Farmer Market vendors every Thursday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

 

Food Truck Festival

June 12th

This 4th annual event will include a line-up of various food trucks, beer & wine tents, live music, games, bounce houses, and more!

 

Fall-O-Ween Festival

October 30th

Full night if trick-or-treating, games, food truck, ha maze, petting zoo, and much, much more!

Volunteer Opportunities

The Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation Department is seeking organizations, churches, or groups who are looking for ways to be involved in the community. We are busy planning this year's community events and need your help to make them run wonderfully. If you are interested in being a volunteer for an upcoming event, please contact the Parks and Recreation office for more information on how you can be a part of all the magic these events are sure to bring!
