The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors is proud to support the educational aspirations of local students through the Annual Ambassador Scholarship. This $1,000 scholarship is designed to help alleviate some of the financial burdens of higher education, including tuition, books, and supplies.

Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors from a Copperas Cove school who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (official transcript required)
- Enrollment in a degree or technical school program
- Submission of a completed application, including a short essay
Unlike other scholarships, this opportunity is available to all students, regardless of their affiliation with the Chamber of Commerce. No priority is given to Chamber members or their families, ensuring an inclusive and community-driven selection process.
Application Process & Deadline
Interested students must submit their applications by April 16, 2025. The scholarship recipient will be announced by the third week of May.
Applications should include:
- Completed application form
- Official transcript
- A 300-500 word essay answering:
- What is the purpose of a Chamber of Commerce?
- How is a Chamber of Commerce beneficial to a community?
- What is your opinion of what your local Chamber of Commerce does for your community?
Additional information about community involvement, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and awards is encouraged.
Recognizing Our Scholars
The selected recipient must consent to having their picture featured on the Chamber’s website and social media platforms. This is part of our initiative to recognize outstanding students who contribute to our community and exemplify leadership and academic excellence.
Community Support & Funding
The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Scholarship is made possible through various fundraising events organized by the Chamber Ambassadors. Local businesses and community members play a critical role in funding this scholarship through their generous support and participation in these events.
