Metroplex Hospital, the primary health care provider for the Copperas Cove area, offers a wide array of medical and wellness services to residents of Coryell, Bell and Lampasas counties.
The 202-bed, multi-campus facility is part of a not-for-profit Christian organization operated as a community service by the Adventist Health System, which manages more than 560 hospitals worldwide. Regionally, the system is made up of Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas, the Metroplex Urgent Care Center in Killeen, The Pavilion in Killeen, a home health care facility (HomeCare), Advanced Imaging Center in Killeen, MetroFlex Rehabilitation Center in Killeen, and a mobile wellness unit.

Rollins Brook Hospital
A recent $3 million expansion of the facilities at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas added 15,500 square feet to the previous 18,067-square-foot structure. The two-story addition features expanded emergency room facilities, a radiology department and a medical laboratory. Rollins Brook is a 25-bed facility, providing a variety of general health care services and same-day surgery to residents of Lampasas and the surrounding rural area.
Scott & White Hospital
Scott & White is one of the largest, multi-specialty hospital systems in the nation. This 467-bed teaching hospital, affiliated with Texas A&M University’s Health Science Center College of Medicine; 18 regional clinics, and an award-winning health plan provides health care coverage to approximately 180,000 Texans. Scott & White has been recognized for several years as one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation for heart, stroke, and orthopedic care. The Temple-based hospital has one of the few neonatal intensive care units in the central Texas region.

Darnall Army Community Hospital(DACH)
Darnall Army Community Hospital, located on Fort Hood just a few miles east of Copperas Cove, provides state-of-the-art medical care to active-duty and retired soldiers and their families. Darnall serves approximately 147,000 military beneficiaries within a 40-mile radius of its central location.
Through the TRICARE military health plan, approximately 100,000 are enrolled in Darnall’s system of family care clinics. In addition to three clinics on Fort Hood, Darnall operates two clinics in surrounding communities – one of which is in Copperas Cove. As well as family care clinics, there are 22 specialty clinics within Darnall.
