The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce provides leadership and services for its more than 350 members who are some of the most capable business and professional people in our community representing the diverse economy of the Cove area. Through the collective efforts of individual volunteers, the chamber fosters a competitive and cooperative business climate conducive to growth, prosperity, and the maintenance of a high quality of life.

The chamber's policies and procedures are set by a 17-person Board of Directors that meets monthly. Each year a program of work and a budget are created by the Board of Directors to guide the organization's efforts.

The chamber contracts with the City of Copperas Cove to promote tourism and to attract new businesses to the city. Under a progressive membership dues structure, businesses pay dues according to their size. For those companies taking advantage of the chamber's advocacy, programs, services, and marketing opportunities, the direct benefits far exceed their dues investment. Your annual dues buy far more than just a membership. They garner a better business climate and make our community a better place in which to live and do business. If you are in business, you need to be a member of the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce.

One of the primary goals of the chamber is to keep cash registers ringing all around town. The chamber manages to accomplish this task through its numerous tourism programs.

Message from the President

We hope you are visiting our website because you are moving to Copperas Cove and joining our Cove family, opening a new business here, checking out our Bike/Run Central Texas, or finding information about our numerous festivals that we provide for our Central Texas area.

We are located to the West of Fort Hood and we are home to a multitude of military families. We are soldier friendly and support our soldiers and their families throughout the year. We are strongly involved with AUSA (Association of the United States Army), the Wounded Worrier Program and the Adopt-a-Fort-Hood-Unit Program. “Military Families Welcome Here” is one of our familiar sayings in Copperas Cove.

Copperas Cove is growing, and our city staff is on top of the growth moving us forward in a most positive direction. We have several new housing developments that have been built on the edge of the city with CCISD working closely with the city in keeping our education as a top priority in the forefront for our young citizens.

We (the Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau) do not know how not to say “YES” so we are involved with every entity of our city and we call ourselves the “Front Door of the City”. Please check out every page on our website because we are more than just your average chamber, we are involved with Copperas Cove’s progress.

Trying to decide to move here? The answer is yes, come on, you are most welcome. Our school district just received recognition as a ”Recognized School District” placing it in the top quarter of districts and top 19 percent of students statewide. Copperas Cove has the best schools in Central Texas!

The chamber takes care of its members and provides services above and beyond what most Chamber of Commerce’s offer. We are growing at a rapid pace with new businesses joining our chamber weekly. Our people are friendly, we’re progressing at a rapid pace, and we have great potential for the future for our Copperas Cove citizens. Volunteer -  It's Good for You and Good for Cove!

A lifeline of Cove's chamber is the volunteers that help make chamber and community events happen. Without their time, effort, and dedication behind the scenes events would not exist and the money so vital to achieve the chamber's mission would never be raised.

Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is rewarded year after year by our community's spirit of volunteerism. Volunteers from youth groups, churches, civic organizations, Fort Hood, and Cove residents regularly lend their time, personal, and business resources to help the Chamber in it's multi-faceted role of making Cove a great community.

You'll find our volunteers brimming with enthusiasm on the chamber's board of directors, you'll see them putting forward the best of Cove at Ambassadors Club events, and just stand back and be amazed at the dozens of friendly folk hustling around in the wee hours of the morning before a community event ready to lend a hand wherever needed.

We're proud of our volunteers and business professionals and proud to call them our neighbors. So, give a shout out to chamber volunteers when you see them on the streets of Cove - and say Thanks! You're making Cove a better place for all of us!
